Big Cloud are recruiting for an exceptional Data Scientist to join a world class AI start-up in London.
We are working with an incredibly innovative Series A start-up who are looking for a Data Scientist to join their London team. They are using AI to develop state-of-the-art autonomous decision making designed to solve complex problems. This is a role that will be combining data science with clinical engineering & bioinformatics.
Reporting into the Head of Machine Learning, you will be developing cutting edge ML algorithms in the healthcare sector, working with large & complex medical datasets. The business is geared around solving problems for major global clients, leveraging advanced machine learning, deep learning & reinforcement learning techniques. It’s well established, with multiple offices around the world and revenue generating.
You will be an exceptional data scientist with industry experience, a talented coder with excellent Python & Tensorflow skills (+ pandas & scikit-learn) and have previous experience with messy medical datasets. Experience with Uniclust databases, BLAST and PDB would be a big advantage. You will also have an MSc or PhD in Bioinformatics/Machine Learning etc & previous machine learning experience within the health domain.
This is not an easy role, it will be challenging and requires a firm self-discipline and attention to detail that many don’t have. But in return, the role itself is incredibly rewarding you will be able to work with some of the most talented minds within AI and ML on some of the most interesting problems in health. The role, of course, comes with a competitive salary.
