Audio Software Engineer

A global consumer brand is improving its customer interaction through point-of-sale voice AI systems. The technology is already developed, and proving to be highly effective in understanding multiple languages and accents.

A tech lab has now been established to roll out the current technology, whilst improving quality and efficiency using advanced machine learning.

They are looking for software engineers to work on; audio processing in Linux, data pipelines, microphone arrays, and audio streams. Integrating audio models for recognizing and processing speech signals.

You will work on a real-world audio processing stack that interacts with millions of customers daily, accounting for the majority percentage of sales per day.

For this role you will need:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Expertise working in Linux environments
  • 3 years of industry experience in Python and C++
  • Professional experience in audio programming, audio signal processing, or similar
  • Experience with Kaldi ASR or related
