A London based start-up is looking for a Lead Research Scientist with expertise in reinforcement learning and robotics technologies to join their advanced research team. They are combining novel techniques in reinforcement learning, imitation learning and deep learning to build complex self-learning systems. This has real-world applications in autonomous driving and robotics and is leading to exciting advancements in both fields.

As a Lead Research Scientist, you’ll lead a small team of Researchers to develop bleeding-edge algorithms, test and develop your ideas, publish your findings in international AI conferences (NeurIPS, CVPR, ICCV, ICML, ICLR etc) and push the boundaries of what is possible.

Your background will include:

  • A PhD in a relevant field, experience in similar companies or with similar technologies.
  • A deep understanding of mathematics, machine learning and a strong coding background.

  • A strong publication record.

Your work will be used in real-time, affecting (positively) the lives of thousands of people. You will be able to look around in the press or in major cities and see your hard work changing the AI landscape. Plus, you’ll be rewarded with an excellent salary, share options and working environment.
